Bladderwrack of the Medway is a Photographic Installation showing fragments of the landscape around the Medway,

focusing on the relations between the water and the land. The quiet marshes are displayed in eerie photographs created with an Alternative Darkroom process whereby I fish out Local Seaweed from the pier here at the Hulkes and Lane Darkroom and use this to process the photographic film and prints. This causes the photographs to have slight discolouring. This is a Sustainable Darkroom process which connects the water and the land within the photographic images.
